Privacy Notice (KVKK)

1. Data controller

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), the data controller is the travel agency operating carrentalatdalaman.com:

2. Data we process

Identity (full name), contact (email, phone), booking details (car, dates, pick-up/drop-off place, price), flight number, your notes, and transaction security data (IP address, time of consent).

3. Purposes and legal grounds

Taking your reservation, passing it to the providing company, and sending confirmations and reminders: KVKK art. 5/2-(c), performance of a contract.

Keeping commercial and tax records and answering lawful requests from authorities: KVKK art. 5/2-(ç), legal obligation.

Keeping consent records as evidence in disputes: KVKK art. 5/2-(e), establishing or defending a legal claim.

4. Transfers

To fulfil your reservation, your data is shared with the contracted rent-a-car company named on the booking page. That company acts as a separate data controller for the rental agreement, ID/licence checks and statutory notifications.

Hosting, database and email delivery are provided by companies located abroad (Cloudflare, Resend). These transfers rely on the safeguards in KVKK art. 9 (standard contractual clauses).

Data may be disclosed to authorised public bodies when required by law.

5. Collection and retention

Data is collected electronically through the booking form. Reservation records are kept for the periods required by law (10 years for commercial records) and then deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose and recipients, request correction or deletion, object to automated decisions against you, and claim compensation.
